I have noticed a pattern at home during the day and evening before my husband and I are due to serve on our fortnightly roster in our local church. On these days, our family relationships seem to go sour very quickly, illnesses start or suddenly peak, and sleep disturbances in the younger ones are almost predictable.
Last Saturday was particularly bad. We had a morning outing planned for the family, and it went quite pear-shaped before we even left the house. Tempers were stretched, patience left the building, love was tested and tested again. We had a rest when we got home after lunch, but the afternoon and evening weren’t much better.
The details aren’t important and are better forgotten. ;-)
Has anyone else noticed this pattern? Am I being ridiculous in believing the enemy is at work?

We get this Sunday morning! My DH seem to always be late in getting ready for church which is ridiculous since we got to a 10:3o service! We normally get up weekdays at 5:30am. This always causes fighting and blaming and then the rest of the day goes downhill! It is definately the work of the enemy!
