If you feel anger rising up at these words, if the bitter thought of 'I tried believing for healing, and it didn't work' creeps in, please don't turn away just yet. Could it be that every time hope was crushed, every time prayer was seemingly unanswered, every time someone failed to get well, that God was pleading with us to come back to his Word and learn who is to truly to blame, and what we need to do to experience victory?
Could it be that we would see healing for ourselves and our loved ones...
... if we knew, studied, and meditated on God's word regarding healing? (Proverbs 4:20-22)
... if we stopped hoping and started believing God's word regarding healing? (1 Peter 2:24)
... if we laid responsibility for sickness where it truly belongs? (John 10:10)
... if we believed in the authority of Jesus' name? (John 14:13-14)
... if we laid hands on the sick in obedience, expectation and faith? (Mark 16:17-18)
... if we stopped pleading to God and started claiming Jesus' authority over sickness and infirmity? (John 16:23-24, Acts 3:6)
... if we prayed in agreement and faith with just one other person? (Matthew 18:19-20)
Could it be that every time we dare to get close to this truth, that our enemy stops at nothing to prevent us experiencing the glory and the wonder and the joy of God's victory over sickness and infirmity?
