I have spent some time during this Christmas holiday planning for 2012 and beyond, and I am very excited to announce that I will be studying towards a degree in Counselling! (Here are details of the course if anyone is interested: www.aifc.com.au).
However, the time commitment required means that I need to end some of my existing commitments, including this blog.
I plan to leave the blog in place as long as I can, so that we are able to access the archives, and I may occasionally post new entries as I have time, but for now, this is goodbye.
Thank you for journeying with me over the past 9 months. I will miss you!
The LORD bless you and keep you
the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.
(Numbers 6:24-26)

Ohhhh so sad about the blog finishing up for now as I love reading your posts and thoughts!!! I hope you will at least stick around on facebook for occasional wisdom to share??? But mostly - im so very happy and proud that you are doing counselling - sounds just PERFECT for you, so well done!!!! God bless your studies!
Penny, this makes lots of sense to me. I think you are perfect for a counseling course, although it seems that the counseling techniques come naturally to you. How wonderful for the (additional) people who will benefit from your training. Lots of love and good wishes.
Thank you ladies! I deeply appreciate your kindness and good wishes!!!
Congratulations Penny! Although I will miss reading your posts, I wish you all the best with your studies. I am sure you will be brilliant. God bless!
Thanks Jo!
Oh, wow, Penny! What an exciting new step in your life!! I am very happy for you. You will make an excellent counselor. I will miss reading your blog posts as well, though. Come back every now and again and let us know how you are doing?? I believe God will bless you in this because I know you are a woman who is seeking after His plan for you. Thank you for spending your time giving us some of your wisdom :)
